Just when you think that you've banged your head against the wall for the final time, that you've been talking only to yourself and you start to talk back, that no one is listening, you get this note...

One of my former students is in a leadership class where he had to write about influences in his life. He sent this to me today. One of the awesome parts about teaching high school is that kids are getting mature enough to tell you your influence. And the timing is perfect, always. Most days I feel like a nagging bitch. I am extremely grateful for this note.
