My dog the immigrant

As you can probably imagine everyone at school knows about my new pooch face. Today while our department cleaning lady was cleaning my room she asked about Fresa. Lydia is from the DR but speaks excellent English so we talk a lot. I know about her family and she knows about mine. So she casually asked how pup was doing and I filled her in on the better sleep, but still crazy high energy pooch that now keeps me on my toes. She then asked what I was planning on doing with her when I left the island in June and I replied, well, I'm taking her with me of course. "Really?" she says. "That dog is luckier than me."

All these people here that dream of a new life in a new land where freedom rings and this lucky pup gets the golden ticket.
