Sometimes I'm sitting in my apartment, listening to the car alarms, barking dogs, screaming babies, getting up to do dishes only to remember that they turn off my water from 3 - 6 pm, oh yeah, I have to wait until 6, and I think... is this really my life?
Do you ever look in from the outside and wonder how you ended up where you are?
I feel like I'm in some movie. A movie set in the city. A movie set in an apartment surrounded by apartments. People struggling. TV antennas wrapped in aluminum foil. Curtains with little tassels, tile floors, dirty rugs. Booty bumpin' tunes. A barely functional kitchen.
My electricity bill last month was $15.
Why do people still set their car alarm?
