My plans of studying biology for 2 hours a day hasn't really come to fruition so I decided maybe I should sit in on a college bio class at UNCW. I went to class today and sat in on a intro class for non majors. The prof was trying to "connect" with the students by asking them why they were taking the class. Most responded "because it's a requirement" which I get. Then one kid said... "I don't really know what biology is (another kitten gone)". WTF. Did this person graduate from high school? My 7th graders can tell you what biology is. So I sat through two hours of the most basic information and after looking at the syllabus decided that this was going to be a waste of my time. So here I am back to my independent study.
